Milton man tries — unsuccessfully — to hide from Santa Rosa County deputies and K9s

SANTA ROSA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) — A Milton man tried to hide from Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s deputies Tuesday after running from a disturbance, News 5 has learned.

According to an SRCSO Facebook post, 43-year-old Bryan King “tried to play a high-stakes game of hide and seek” with the deputies.

King led deputies and their K9 counterparts “through thick woods, over fences and straight into custody,” the post said.

Members of the Patrol Division, Dispatch Team and K9 Units, particularly K9 Jake, reportedly hunted King down and captured him.

King is charged with felony aggravated assault with a weapon – domestic violence, and battery – domestic violence. He was taken to the Santa Rosa County Jail, where he is being held on a $6,000 bond, according to jail records.
