Manhunt Underway for Suspects in Philly Double Homicide That Injured 7-Year-Old Girl

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Authorities have issued arrest warrants for two men in connection with a deadly shooting that left two people dead and two others—including a young child—injured in Philadelphia’s Hunting Park section.

According to the Philadelphia Police Department, the violence erupted around 8:22 p.m. on Saturday, July 26, 2025, along the 1900 block of West Hunting Park Avenue. Officers were dispatched to the scene following reports that a seven-year-old child had been shot.

Upon arrival, police found two adult males suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. One of the victims, 29-year-old Nyfik Johnson of Philadelphia, sustained gunshots to his body and head. He was transported by police to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. A second victim, identified as Quron Ross-Weems, was also shot in the head.
