ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Officials in Roanoke celebrated the opening of the Melrose Plaza with the unveiling of a history wall.
According to event organizers, the wall was created to pay tribute to those whose past shall not be forgotten and to represent living legends whose legacies shaped Roanoke. They said its another stop to a much longer journey toward equity and inclusion.
