A man on parole for his involvement in the murder of a 14-year-old boy in suburban St. Louis is now accused of selling three guns to federal informants and agents in Chicago, according to a newly filed criminal complaint.
Prosecutors say an informant working with the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives contacted Alec Chisolm-Blockton, 29, in early June and arranged to buy two pistols. Chisolm-Blockton allegedly texted the informant photos of a Springfield Hellcat priced at $700 and a Glock 48 for $800, agreeing to hold them until late June.
Three weeks later, the informant met Chisolm-Blockton in an alley behind the 600 block of East 75th Street. Prosecutors say Chisolm-Blockton took the pistols out of his pocket and placed them on the driver’s-side floorboard of the informant’s car in exchange for $1,500.
