AUSTIN, Texas — Austin ISD will be making staffing cuts in the wake of cuts to federal education spending.
Austin ISD made the announcement their website. The district says that more than $9 million in federal education grants were under extended review by the federal government, and that these funds were not released as expected on July 1.
