El Paso sets lowest property tax rate in decade, bills still rise for most homeowners

El Pasoans will see their lowest property tax rate in a decade, but most residents will still see an increase in their annual property tax bill.

The El Paso City Council unanimously approved a property tax rate of 75.9 cents, down from the 76.1 cents previously presented, during a special meeting Thursday, July 31.
