Man charged in screwdriver stabbing at downtown Green Bay park

GREEN BAY (WLUK) — A Green Bay man is accused of stabbing another man with a screwdriver at a downtown park.

Ray Long, 48, faces one count of attempted first-degree intentional homicide for the July 16 attack in downtown Green Bay.

According to the criminal complaint, the victim told police he went out for a smoke. He saw a man who identified himself as “Creeper” motion for the victim to come over. “Creeper” asked the victim if he needed “green,” meaning marijuana. The victim said yes but needed to get cash. He went to an ATM and agreed to meet “Creeper” at Jackson Square Park…
