CLEVELAND, Ohio — Federal prosecutors must now decide whether to appeal or retry the case of a Cleveland man whose conviction and 20-year prison sentence were overturned in the overdose death of a Solon woman.
The 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals overturned the conviction of Devante Glenn in the carfentanil overdose death of 25-year-old Renee Ducatman. It found that key testimony presented during his 2023 trial was improper and likely swayed the jury’s verdict.
