ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — Friday is a Weather Warn Day for the threat of localized flash flooding.
Numerous thunderstorms with heavy downpours are likely across the mountains and Upstate, mainly from 2-9 p.m.
Parts of the area have seen multi-inch rains already this week, so additional rainfall in these areas will run off quickly. Urban areas are especially vulnerable to the flash flood threat on Friday.
