An 80-year-old Gainesville man was killed in a crash on McEver Road in Gainesville Thursday afternoon.
A release from the Hall County Sheriff’s Office said the crash happened at around 4:30 p.m. near McEver’s intersection with Vineyard Way, the entrance to the McEver Vineyards apartment complex. It reportedly started when a southbound car driven by Sandra Raquel Garcia, age 36 of Gainesville, stopped in the southbound lanes of McEver Road trying to turn left into the apartment complex.
“A southbound 2014 Nissan Sentra rear-ended Garcia’s vehicle, pushing it into the intersection,” the sheriff’s office’s release said…
