JetZero Moving HQ to Greensboro

JetZero said it’s best to have its headquarters near the factory. The company announced it will move its headquarters to Greensboro. The Triad Business Journal reports the company plans to hire 14,500 workers to build its exotic wing jetliner in Greensboro. The expected $4.7 billion investment through 2036 was lured by a package of state incentives valued at $1.57 billion and incentives from Greensboro and Guilford County, together worth $90 million.

The company has about 200 employees now in Long Beach, California and intends to establish a base in Greensboro next year.

JetZero will share an airport, aerospace campus and local aerospace talent pool with at least two other aircraft builders: Honda Aviation, part of the Japan-based conglomerate that designs and builds well-regarded private jets, and Boom Supersonic, whose factory building for supersonic jetliners is up…
