Goodwill Industries of Upstate/Midlands South Carolina will host a job fair aimed at professionals in the information technology sphere Aug. 7, 3-5 p.m., at 2550 N. Pleasantburg Drive in Greenville.
The nonprofit is working to bridge employment gaps in the tech field. The South Carolina Council on Competitiveness reported more than 50% growth in the field since 2020, with over 143,011 IT employees in the state as of 2024. The industry makes a $51.7 billion annual impact on the state’s economy.
