LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) – A woman is facing a capital murder charge after an infant died at the hospital, according to the Limestone County Sheriff’s Office.
LCSO said that early Friday morning, deputies responded to an infant medical call at a home on Estate Drive in Athens. Deputies said that, when they arrived, they found an unresponsive infant who had been “severely beaten and showed no signs of life.”
