STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Construction is progressing at ShopRite’s fourth Staten Island location, and the grocer is now seeking to fill a range of both part- and full-time positions at the Great Kills supermarket.
A “We’re Hiring” sign was lofted outside the building located at 150 Greaves Lane on Monday, and a number of lawn signs were placed around the property, each directing potential candidates to visit shoprite.com/careers. According to Wakefern Food Corp., the supermarket cooperative that owns ShopRite, the store is scheduled to open this fall.
Located in Evergreen Plaza — in the space formerly occupied by SuperFresh — the new ShopRite will fill a neighborhood grocery gap and bring life back to the shopping center, which has experienced several vacancies over the past three years.
