Wilmington Police have apprehended a 32-year-old man, Jesus Ortiz-Seda, in relation to a “shots fired” incident that took place earlier this month. The event in question occurred on July 10, at around 8:54 p.m. on the 1400 block of St. Elizabeth Street, as reported by the Wilmington Police Department. Though the gunfire did not result in any injuries, the response from the authorities was swift, with no time wasted in identifying a suspect.
The Crime Gun Intelligence Center, hand in hand, with the Uniformed Services Division worked together to pinpoint Ortiz-Seda as the individual allegedly behind the trigger. On Monday, he was located and taken into custody on the 1600 block of Bonwood Road, the arrest executed without further drama or incident.
