Just the other day I was talking with my Omega Psi Phi Fraternity brother, John Jones. He was happy to hear from me, but sad nonetheless.
Like me, Jones has been a member of our beloved frat for decades. Like me, he’s still active and engaged. Like me, we don’t drink the Omega oil, step, party and socialize as we once did as younger frat brothers. When you’re an Omega, people expect the brothers in purple and gold to bring the funk.
But at 85, those days are far in his rearview mirror. Yet, like most Omega men, Omega friendship is essential to his soul…
