One killed in shooting at Jackson gas station

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police are investigating after one person was killed during a shooting at a gas station.

The shooting occurred at the Shell gas station on Robinson Street early Friday morning.

Vehicle recovery worker shot multiple times in South Jackson

Detective Tommie Brown, with the Jackson Police Department (JPD), said detectives and the coroner responded to the scene. Police did not release any suspect information.

Interim Hinds County Coroner Jeramiah Howard said the male victim was shot at the location. The victim has not been identified.
