RANSOM CANYON, Texas — Palo Duro Canyon State Park is celebrating World Ranger Day by thanking all their rangers for what they do.
In a social media post, Palo Duro spoke to the work that all the rangers do; from cleaning facilities, managing emergencies, leading hikes and more.
“No two days are the same, and most of us wear more than one hat. But the heart of the job never changes: caring for this place and the people who visit it,” the post said. “Today, we also tip our hats to rangers beyond our borders. We know the work is challenging—and we’re proud to stand alongside you. Here’s to all the rangers out there, doing good work in wild places.”…
