DENVER (KDVR) — A 32-year-old man was sentenced to 25 years in prison on Tuesday after pleading guilty to charges connected to a series of violent crimes committed in Westminster and Thornton during the same day last October, including the attempted kidnapping of a teenage girl.

The man, identified as Jeremiah Mullins, pleaded guilty last month to three felony charges, including aggravated robbery, second-degree attempted kidnapping and second-degree motor vehicle theft, according to the 17th Judicial District Attorney’s Office.
The district attorney’s office said Mullins was driving a stolen vehicle in October 2024 when he approached the girl in Westminster, pointed a gun at her and demanded she get into his car near 128th Avenue and Delaware Street.
