N.J. man arrested after cops find large stash of of drugs, guns, authorities say

A man is facing a number of criminal charges after authorities said they found large quantities of hard drugs and weapons.

Scott M. Hopkins, 55, of Alexandria, was taken into custody last month and charged with various weapons and drug offenses, the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office said in a statement on Friday.

The most serious offenses he faces are first-degree possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, second-degree possession with intent to distribute cocaine and three counts of second-degree possession of a firearm during the commission of a controlled dangerous substance offense…
