PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — A man was killed and an older woman was seriously hurt after they were shot by a family member on Thursday, police said.
Just before 5:45 p.m. on July 31, officers responded to a residence in the 12900 block of Kenmar Drive in Woodbridge to investigate a shooting.
The investigation revealed that the suspect, identified as 56-year-old Khampheng Quanlangsy, was involved in an argument with his family members that escalated. At one point during the argument, Quanlangsy grabbed a gun and shot the two family members before calling emergency services, police said.
