Candler man to spend more than 24 years in prison on drug, gun charges

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — A Candler man has been sentenced to more than 24 years in prison after pleading guilty to drug- and gun-related charges.

The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) said Kyle Heath Clark, 38, trafficked fentanyl and methamphetamine in Buncombe County and surrounding areas between June 2023 and February 2024.

Following a search of Clark’s property and storage unit, the DOJ said investigators found 11 firearms, including an AR-type rifle, along with ammunition. They also discovered more than 64 grams of fentanyl, 1.9 kilograms of methamphetamine, digital scales, drug paraphernalia and over $25,900 in cash…
