The Clarksville Police Department is reminding motorists that the first day of school in the Clarksville-Montgomery County School District is Wednesday, Aug. 6.
On Monday, Aug. 11, the kids return to the classroom for their first full day of classwork.
“The safety of children as they travel to and from school is a top priority, and we’re asking the community to do their part,” a release from the police department said.
