The City of West Columbia announced yesterday that the section of West Columbia Riverwalk Park accessible at 109 Alexander Rd. is now open from the Amphitheater to the Cayce connection. This section of the Riverwalk had been closed for repairs following damage caused by Hurricane Helene.
While this reopening marks a significant step forward, the City of West Columbia also noted that the Amphitheater parking lot will remain closed as construction crews continue their work on the remaining repairs from the Gervais Street Bridge to the Moffatt St. entrance.
