Legal team of arrested DCS employee says she was wrongfully charged

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — The legal team of an Evansville woman who worked as an Indiana Department of Child Services Family Case Manager says she was wrongfully charged.

As we first reported Wednesday, Sara Wood was arrested on three misdemeanor counts of obstruction of a child abuse assessment, and one felony count of official misconduct, after being accused of falsifying visit records on several families.
