SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office said that one person died while in custody Friday morning.
Deputies said they were called out to Abernathy Road and Midnight Road in Inman regarding reports of a suspicious person in the area. Upon arrival, deputies said they located a person lying in the roadway.
Authorities said they arrested the person after they refused to cooperate with law enforcement, and charged them with one count of public disorderly conduct and one count of pedestrian in the roadway…
