7 Children Removed From Tennessee Home With ‘Deplorable Conditions’ After 2 Found Alone On Road

Two people were arrested after seven children were removed from a Tennessee home where they were found living in “deplorable conditions,” authorities said.

The Knox County Sheriff’s Office said a 911 caller reported finding two young children standing alone in the wood line on the 3000 block of Clear Springs Road in Mascot at around 7:23 a.m. Tuesday. Responding deputies determined the children, both around 6 years old, lived at a nearby residence.

Deputies and Family Crimes Unit detectives went to the residence to contact the children’s parents, and found that a total of seven children ranging from 1 month old to 7 years old were living in the home in “deplorable conditions.”…
