PENSACOLA, Fla. — A noise ordinance has been in effect in Downtown Pensacola for years. Excessively loud music coming from cars and nightclubs is banned after 11 p.m.
The state passed the “Loud Music Law” in 2022, which makes it illegal to play music in a car that is “plainly audible” at a distance of more than 25 feet.
