DELRAY BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — A suspect is in custody after a Tuesday shooting that sent two men to the hospital, which he claims was retaliation for a prior attack.
The Delray Beach Police Department announced the arrest of Hecare Gacia, 29, on Friday. Police say he’s facing counts of aggravated assault with a firearm and discharging a firearm from a vehicle after he was accused of shooting at a 18-year-old and 20-year-old at a home on SW 10th Avenue. Both were taken to the hospital for their injuries.
Through the police department’s investigation, it was learned that a silver Toyota Camry, driven by Garcia, had drove past a home and fired several gunshots at a group of people who were standing outside. On Wednesday, the Camry was found in a Publix parking lot, located at 1690 S. Federal Highway…
