EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A 23-year-old man was arrested after he stabbed and killed a 46-year-old man on Tuesday, July 29, in South El Paso, according to the El Paso Police Department (EPPD).
Oscar Octavio Ortiz, 23, from Socorro, was arrested on Thursday, July 31, at the Paso Del Norte port of entry for the stabbing death of Rigoberto Cortes, 46, according to EPPD.
El Paso Police said Ortiz was charged with murder under a $1 million bond and booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility.
