H-E-B Mobile Kitchen kicks off Summer of Sharing tour in Lubbock

LUBBOCK, Texas — H-E-B’s Hunger Relief team will fire up its Mobile Kitchen and hit the road to kick off the annual H-E-B Summer of sharing tour. The event is taking place at the South Plains Food Bank on Monday, August 4th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The first stop on the tour will be in Lubbock Texas, where the retailer, in partnership with the South Plains Food Bank, will provide more than 1,500 families with hot meals made from the H-E-B mobile kitchen, bags filled with food items, summer activities and more during Lubbock’s mobile distribution.

At the drive-thru event Lubbock families with school aged children will be eligible to receive the hot meals, summer activities and bags of food items along with local entertainment from Spivey. There is no need to register for this event. Free to all families with school aged children.
