Hole Punched In House Ends Omaha Standoff

(Omaha, NE) — The U.S. Marshal’s Service Fugitive Task Force and Omaha Police SWAT teams punch a hole in the side of a house and send in a K9 to make an arrest and end a long standoff in north Omaha.

The officers were attempting to serve a warrant Friday morning at a home near 42nd and Sorenson Parkway, but the suspect did not surrender.

Police eventually used machinery to tear away siding under the roofline and arrest a 31-year- old man in the attic…
