WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — A D.C. man was convicted by a jury on Thursday for stabbing a Metro Transit Police Department (MTPD) Sergeant in the face earlier this year, the U.S. Attorney’s Office (USAO) for the District of Columbia announced.
Erik, 43, was found guilty of assault of a police officer while armed, assault with a dangerous weapon, and assault with serious bodily injury.
