2 pedestrians hit by car, killed while trying to cross I-85, Atlanta police say

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – Two men were killed on Thursday night as they tried to cross I-85 S on foot, according to Atlanta police.

At around 9:10 p.m., officers were called to the interstate near the Lindbergh Drive exit, where they found the two men dead. All of the interstate’s lanes were closed near the Buford-Spring Connector as officials investigated.

Police said 51-year-old Glenn Young and an unidentified 49-year-old were crossing the interstate when they were both hit by a car. One of the men was also hit by a second car…
