JEFFERSONVILLE, IN – A southern Indiana man has been arrested after allegedly striking two pedestrians with his car while driving intoxicated early Friday morning.
According to a news release from the Jeffersonville Police Department, officers were called to the intersection of Pearl Street and West Maple Street at approximately 12:45 a.m. for a motor vehicle collision involving two pedestrians.
At the scene, officers found two unconscious men who were then transported to a local hospital for emergency treatment. Authorities say one of the victims later regained consciousness but sustained “serious injuries,” while the second victim remains unconscious with no immediate diagnosis available…
