Urgent plea! Mobile County Animal Shelter needs space

Help move adoptable dogs and puppies, cats and kittens from the Shelter to their forever homes or into Mobile County Animal Shelter’s foster program.

  • 80 adoptable dogs and puppies need homes or fostering (20 of these are PUPPIES)
  • 9 adoptable cats and kittens need homes or fostering (7 of these are KITTENS)

To help move animals out of the shelter, Commissioner Connie Hudson is sponsoring some of the adoptions:

  • 60 adult dogs are fully sponsored (no adoption fees)
  • 20 puppies are partially sponsored ($40 or less to adopt)

Since Saturday, July 26, MCAS has taken in more than 75 dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens and Mobile County Animal Shelter is over capacity.
