Back in 2017 when Blount County and other states experienced the total solar eclipse, Carolyn Forster and friends had a celebration for the ages.
It was also the first year she had planted thousands of sunflowers at her Sevierville Road home in Maryville.
“Friends and family were invited to an eclipse party and we had multiple generations sharing the day,” Forster recalled. “The pictures of these kids getting to experience this incredible event in the midst of sunflowers will forever be etched in my memory.”…
