K-9 detained barricaded suspect after hours of standoff in Sacramento County

According to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office, the incident happened inside a home on the 3800 block of Moonbeam Drive in East Sacramento. After several hours of unsuccessful negotiation, the Sheriff’s Special Enforcement Detail deployed CS gas.

The sheriff’s office said Sheriff’s K-9 Tito had a success after bringing the standoff to an end by taking Barbec into custody.

Once Barbec is medically cleared, SCSO said he will be booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail on charges of assault with a deadly weapon and possibly resisting arrest, SCSO said…
