San Diego County ends Naloxone contract with Harm Reduction Coalition

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — San Diego County officials have terminated a major contract to distribute naloxone – a lifesaving overdose-reversal drug.

The CEO of the Harm Reduction Coalition of San Diego said they were notified of the county’s decision a little over a month ago but are still working to provide life-saving services to those who need them.
