Friday, August 1 was is the deadline when all schools in New York state must submit a bell-to-bell cell phone plan to the state.
It’s part of the Distraction-Free Schools Law, passed earlier this year as part of Gov. Kathy Hochul’s state budget. It applies to all school districts, charter schools, and BOCES schools.
