Mass. resident charged with DUI Drug in Vermont

RANDOLPH, VT. (WWLP) – An individual from Roxbury was arrested on Thursday in Vermont for allegedly operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs.

The Vermont State Police stated in a news release that at approximately 11:08 p.m. on Thursday, troopers observed motor vehicle violations occurring on I-89 southbound in Randolph and conducted a traffic stop.

Springfield man released from prison after 40 years for wrongful conviction

When speaking with the operator, identified as 31-year-old Naliber Taveras of Roxbury, Mass., officers noticed signs of impairment. Following the investigation, Taveras was arrested under suspicion of DUI Drug.

Taveras was released on citation after being processed at the Royalton State Police Barracks, and is scheduled to appear at Orange County Criminal Court on September 24.
