Philly Police launch ‘Summer Night Lights’ to keep kids safe from gun violence

The Philadelphia Police Department and their partners have announced a month long “Summer Night Lights” program which plans to help to build community between the department and residents in the area.

The new initiative is said to include evening programming, mentorship, community clean ups and food drives five days a week with resources being available at the Winchester and Penrose Recreation Centers.
