DES MOINES, Iowa (WKBT) — As many families get ready to get back into the classroom, the state of Iowa is launching its annual tax-free weekend.
According to the Iowa Department of Revenue, the tax-free discount applies to most articles of clothing worth less than $100, including diapers, jackets, jerseys, socks, or ties.
However, not every piece of clothing is impacted by the special holiday, including watches, elbow pads, sunglasses, or even book bags.
