Connecting Our Voices: Feria De Salud is a free community event that focuses on our cultural values leveraged to prevent substance misuse, suicide, and violence in the state. It will be held on August 8 from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. on the City of Albuquerque’s Civic Plaza in downtown Albuquerque.
The event is an opportunity for the National Latino Behavioral Health Association to showcase the protective and traditional healing practices that date back hundreds of years in the southwest.
It also promotes “Cultura ed Medicina” and will include locally grown food vendors, local vendors, traditional healers, local food trucks, lowriders, musica, and traditional dance…
