SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. — The Central Valley School District expected a series of projects aimed at making schools safer would take six years to finish but now they are fast-tracked for completion next summer.
Between this summer and next, a total of 10 schools will be getting renovations to install double door vestibules or an extra lobby attached to the main office. The idea is to make it easier to identify who is entering the school. It requires each visitor to be buzzed in.
