Upstate residents take advantage of tax-free weekend before school starts

ANDERSON, S.C. (WSPA) – Looking to save money while also reaping the benefits of doing back-to-school shopping? Fortunately, Friday marked the beginning of South Carolina’s tax-free weekend.

Parents and teachers said that while the back-to-school season can be stressful, tax-free weekends make it easier to pay for school essentials.
