Thomasville property shut down after repeated drug activity, community complaints: Sheriff’s Office

DAVIDSON COUNTY, N.C. — The Davidson County Sheriff’s Office has shut down a Thomasville property after repeated drug activity and complaints from the community.

Sheriff Richie Simmons brought in the North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement (ALE) Division’s Nuisance Abatement Team to investigate the property at 827 Shell Road.

Deputies said the home has long been a source of problems, with 30 to 40 complaints tied to suspected drug activity and other criminal behavior…
