MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) — We’ll hold onto a chance of isolated showers and storms into our Friday evening, but by the overnight skies look mostly dry as lows head back into the mid and upper 70s for most.
The heat was on during the workweek, but we’ve got changes coming this weekend. The changes will be thanks to a front that will move in and stall out in our neighborhood. This front will help be the catalyst for higher rain chances over the weekend with Saturday and Sunday both set to bring a 70% chance. While rain chances will run higher, all-day washouts are unlikely. It will likely be one of those patterns where some spots could see multiple rounds of wet weather on a given day or not see all that much. Either way, keep a watchful eye on the sky for any outdoor plans!
Outside of any wet weather this weekend, we’ll mainly see partly cloudy to partly sunny skies. Daytime highs will ease down thanks to the front with highs near 90 on Saturday, then we’ll see upper 80s on Sunday. With the humidity, it will still feel steamy, but instead of heat index values ranging between 105-110 like recent days, that will ease down closer to 100. Not a lot of relief, but we’ll take anything. Overnight lows will hold steady in the 70s…
