HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — A North Carolina man died earlier this month, several weeks after being thrown from a vehicle in Horry County, officials said.
Paul Batten III, 61, died July 24 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center. He was involved in a single-vehicle crash that happened June 11 at about 4:50 p.m. near Highway 905 and Buck Creek Road near Longs, according to Horry County Fire Rescue.
