ORLANDO, Fla. – The National Hurricane Center is keeping an eye on a tropical wave expected to move off the coast of Africa in the next day or two.
While development isn’t likely in the short term, forecasters have given the system a low 20% chance of development over the next seven days.
As the wave tracks west to northwest across the Atlantic, environmental conditions could become a bit more favorable, allowing for slow development as it moves through the central tropical Atlantic later next week…
